Attorney Casey Raye Karabin brings a wealth of experience and dedication to our firm as Of Counsel, a role that reflects our long-standing professional relationship with him. Over the years, Casey has consistently demonstrated the same compassion, commitment, and holistic approach to clients that defines Sousa Family Law, making him a natural fit for our team.
Casey earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Toledo in 2011 before moving to New England to pursue his Juris Doctor at the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 2014. While in law school, Casey focused on corporate and criminal law, completing internships in both Los Angeles and Boston. He also contributed more than 100 hours of pro bono service, earning the prestigious Servant of Justice Award.
Licensed to practice in Massachusetts since 2014, Casey has litigated in courts across every county in the Commonwealth. His career has also included work with a bar exam tutoring company, where he guided aspiring attorneys in preparing for licensure. In practice, Casey has developed a reputation for making even the most complex areas of family and criminal law approachable, focusing on clarity, efficiency, and building trust with his clients.
Casey is also the founder of Karabin Law, located in the South Coast of Massachusetts, where he represents clients throughout Westport, Dartmouth, New Bedford, Fall River, Fairhaven, and surrounding communities. His client-first approach aligns seamlessly with our mission at Sousa Family Law: to treat each case with care for the whole person and to provide advocacy that goes beyond the courtroom.
When he’s not advocating for clients, you’ll often find Casey out on the ocean surfing or enjoying walks with his dog—a balance that reflects his down-to-earth nature and dedication to living life with passion and purpose.
