Education
Kendall is a dynamic professional with a demonstrated history of success in all of her endeavors.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Utah University with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and an Associates in Legal Studies. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Massachusetts School of Law.
Discipline
Atty. Kapitzke was dedicated to sports throughout her education. Her commitment to her teammates and sport landed her as an accomplished Division 1 athlete at SUU for 4 years. During the years she was committed to softball she learned the meaning of discipline, commitment, passion and determination. These are all characteristics that she relies on to be a great attorney for her clients.
Community
Atty. Kaptizke interned for a Juvenile Court Justice where she was heavily involved with cases relating to children and the intricacies of DCF’s involvement with families. She also interned for and is very proud of her work at Veterans Legal Services where she was able to give back to those who have served.
Experience
Before becoming an attorney herself, Kendall was a paralegal in a Family Law Firm. This gave her a daily hands on, face to face experience with clients. Often giving her the experience of handling the non legal, but extremely important issues that arise in family law cases. Ultimately she transitioned into a practicing family law attorney where she utilized her experiences as a paralegal.

Atty. Kapitzke truly believes in the holistic approach she has helped create at Sousa Family law. She is deeply committed and passionate about efficiently assisting individuals and families in resolving their divorce and family matters. She understands and stresses the importance of communication during a process that can be uncertain, stressful, and emotional.
